CATAN celebrates the joy of playing together in the first ever global board game event!

To celebrate CATAN's 30th anniversary, we are hosting the global event CATAN - Connect The World on June 28, 2025 at 1pm sharp at the Brisbane City store. Please arrive by 12.30pm to ensure a smooth registration and set up process.

This is a family friendly event, however we are a licensed venue and will require anyone under the age of 16 to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

CATAN - Connect will be played in over 35 countries worldwide. Local events will be organized in each of these countries, bringing CATAN fans together to experience the game and the unique CATAN spirit up close. CATAN – Connect offers a unique gaming experience, elevating the excitement and joy that have made CATAN a worldwide favourite.

During this event up to 18 participants will play on the large island world of Catan - with everyone at the same time! Trade resources and make quick decisions because time is ticking. Make your way through the desert and secure the best building sites in neighbouring islands. Predetermined round times, a dice roll for everyone, and simultaneous action phases give the game its special charm. A fast-paced CATAN adventure, full of action and fun, awaits you!
